Jean du Plessis
Jean has been a student of philosophy and religion for the past forty years. He holds a degree in Biblical Studies and World Religions, an advanced degree in Comparative Mysticism and has been a lifelong student of Yogi Philosophy.
As author, Jean was senior editor of the first English language edition of the Eastern Bible, and is editor of team Salvar Daosenghlu, responsible for the authorative works produced by the International Association of Wayist Organizations. The team is currently working on the series, WAYISM: an explication of the Primary Text. This will be an ongoing work. Articles will be published in eBook and online format.
Jean worked as ordained minister for a decade during the nineties in the drug-riddled slums of Johannesburg city where he and his wife, Adele, started and managed several childrens homes for destitute girl children and young women, called The House Group.
Presently, Jean works as a Wayist coach and corporate trainer. He presents seminars on Wayism at several locations in Canada, USA and Mexico.
Several titles produced by Jean du Plessis are due for publication during 2011. The highly anticipated book, The Universal Gateway: the second coming of Jesus Christ as Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara in 78AD is already popular on backorder. A third title for the year from this author is The Universal Gateway: a Guide for Spiritual Beings, is aimed at an audience of more advanced knowledge of the spirituality of Wayism.
